I’ll introduce you to my part-time job. I’m working as a waitress in a Japanese style bar in Wako city. I think it is like a Japanese restaurant. Because the bar recommend menu are sake, fish in season, Obanzai (means Kyo-to style home cooking), and broiled. There is a head chef in the kitchen. He cooks fish and always arranges it artistically, also he is an interesting person. Therefore, I think he increases customers. Recently, a foreigner customer came to there. So, I tried to speak with him in English. But it is not easy to explain about Japanese dishes and types of sake in English.
I always sell fish on tub in the restaurant. When I bring tub to the customers table, they almost surprise. This is one of my many pleasures. Then, I show the customers fish on tub, and I have them choose fish. It is so heavy, and it makes me tired. Fish variety is changing everyday, so I have to memorize a lot of fish names, how to deliciously cook of fish. Also have to memorize many names and types of sake. It difficult for me. Because, I'm not interested in fish names and sake. First of all, I didn’t notice that the restaurant is a Japanese style bar and have to memorize fish names. So they are inflict me. But, I came to understand fish names just looked it.
Also, The average amount of money you spend on food and drink in the restaurant was about 4,000 yen. I think this restaurant of staff are very friendly and warm personality, so there is comfortable. I’m very pleased about with my part-time job.
